Pepper Nevins and Alex Harris were bored one December day of the year 2000 at 37.8915, -122.2753, so they decided to make a website. Whilst hunting around for an available domain name, the two high school buddies were frustrated when all of their choices were already taken and so decided to make up their own word. Thus Blunks was born, although peculiarly Blunks.com was already taken, so they settled for Blunks.net.
